I am Karla Moraima Castolo Sánchez, a medical doctor with more than 7 years of experience specializing in clinical cardiology and cardiac rehabilitation. My journey began at the University of Guadalajara and was consolidated at the prestigious National Institute of Cardiology "Ignacio Chávez", where I trained in high-complexity case management and earned my high specialty in rehabilitation.

My current practice at Hospiten Puerto Vallarta combines high-complexity clinical cardiology (with a special focus on resistant hypertension, arrhythmias, and heart failure) with advanced cardiac rehabilitation and cardiovascular prevention programs—a comprehensive approach refined in both private and public sectors (IMSS, 2020–2023).

I am not just an office doctor: I am an active researcher and science communicator. I have coordinated national panels and presented findings at European congresses (ESC, Munich). In 2025, I have intensified my educational work with initiatives such as «Women: Your Heart Matters Too», seeking to empower my patients with real information to prevent cardiovascular diseases.
