Professional Biography
I am Karla Moraima Castolo Sánchez, a surgeon with more than 7 years of specialized experience. My career began at the University of Guadalajara and was consolidated at the prestigious National Institute of Cardiology “Ignacio Chavez”.
My current practice at Hospiten Puerto Vallarta combines clinical cardiology with specialized rehabilitation programs, an integral approach that I developed working in both the private and public sectors (IMSS, 2020-2023).
I am not just an office doctor; I am an active researcher and disseminator. I have coordinated national panels and presented findings at European congresses (ESC Munich). In 2025, I have intensified my educational work with initiatives such as “Women: Your heart matters too”, seeking to empower my patients with real information to prevent disease.
