Integral Approach
Diagnosis + Prevention + Control
When is it convenient to schedule?
The cardiology consultation is the starting point. Whether you have new symptoms or a previous diagnosis that requires monitoring, the goal is to give you certainty about your health.
Agenda if you present:
- Chest pain or tightness to exertion or rest.
- Palpitations (sensation of rapid or irregular heartbeat).
- Lack of air (dyspnea) when walking or climbing stairs.
- Frequent dizziness or fainting (syncope).
- Arterial hypertension uncontrolled.
- Family history of heart attack or sudden death.
What does the consultation include?
Medical History
Complete evaluation of history and current symptoms.
Physical Exploration
Review of vital signs, auscultation and physical condition.
Review of Studies
Laboratory analysis or previous studies that you bring with you.
Treatment Plan
Diagnosis, medical prescription and request for studies (if applicable).
What happens next?
-
Initial Cardiological Assessment
In-depth medical history, physical examination and detailed review of your previous studies to stratify your cardiovascular risk.
-
Customized Plan
Intensity, frequency and realistic goals are defined specifically for your heart. There are no generic prescriptions: the entire plan is individualized.
-
Supervised Sessions
You perform the exercise with continuous monitoring of vital signs. If anything changes, the program is adjusted immediately.
-
Monitoring and Autonomy
Medical treatment adjustments, continuing education and recommendations so that you can eventually exercise safely on your own.
When to go to the ER?
If you have severe chest pain, sudden shortness of breath, fainting, extreme weakness, slurred speech, or rapidly worsening symptoms, do not wait for an office visit.
Studies that could be indicated
Electrocardiogram (ECG): Recording of the heart's electrical activity.
Echocardiogram: Ultrasound to see structure and function.
Holter 24h: Rhythm monitoring to detect arrhythmias.
MAP 24h: Day and night blood pressure monitoring.
